Installation
and Foundation
The press
can give satisfactory performance only. If it is on a well dried foundation
made according to the foundation. the loud bearing capacity of the soil should
be taken in to account. Subsequent sagging of the foundation or erosion of the
soil due to moisture will tend to twist the machine. Due regard must be paid to
the dead weight of the press. When deciding upon the thickness and the nature
of floor on which the press will mounted. The press must be labeled on both
ended.
During
shipment machine may have accumulated coating of dust and other contamination's
inspire of providing the protective and wrapping. The machine must be cleaned
before operation.
Precautions & Safety
SAFETY :
All accidents on power presses are
caused by careless operation, neglected repair or lock of inspiration. Even,

Do not try
to put work on the 'Dies' after the clutch is tripped. Don't try to straighten

talk to anyone when you are working. Put your mind and eyes on the work.
WARNING REGARDING PRESS OPERATION :
Keep

bearing surfaces of power presses necessarily subjected to very high

Careful and
regular inspection is also very essential for economical and safe operation of the
press. The clutch is the vital part of the machine and must be keeping
functioning properly. Broken part witch shows wear should be replaced at once.
The 'Brake' also if not correctly adjusted will cause trouble.
If the
'Brake' is too right, it may heat up and also it will prevent the momentum of
turning shaft from throwing the clutch entirely out, so that it will click.
